RestoraFlora will demonstrate actual treatment of invasive plants on site and offer all of the needed instruction for participants in forming their own teams to conduct ongoing treatments to rid their sites of invasive plants. They will also be provided with information on how to become certified and licensed to use herbicides, which then allows one person to supervise volunteers to work in a given area, such as a neighborhood municipal park. Such parks are often the source from which non-native invasive plants spread to residential yards, and vice versa.
